•Since 2006, the rural schools’ education system has been reconstructed, that canceled most schools located in remoted countryside, and gathered all students to centered schools in towns nearby. Children starting from grade one in those rural boarding schools. Most parents left home for work in other cities, which means they will not see their children very often, some may meet each other once a year. Most boarding schools are far away from rural areas, which cutting off the connection with children’s home community and society. Family accompany and education are missing in those children’s childhood.
•Due to the shortage of teachers, and the single content of curriculum, the needs for children’s growth in both physical and physical have been largely neglected.
•Stay and play with the “left-behind” students;
•Provide professional social courses and seminars;
•Home visiting service for understanding students’ living status;
•Individual counseling service helps to keep and improve children psychological growth condition.
•Since 2017, we had already have 21 project points, 4 different counties, over 200 social work volunteers in Gansu province, and will start new modes of projects in Guizhou starting from 2018.
•Various courses for social work have been introduced, new and advanced educational ideas were brought to those boarding schools;
•The development and formation of children’s habits for both study and living are introduced.
